Game should include a disclaimer or trigger warning
Personally absolutely loved the game but noticed this game has absolutely no disclaimer about certain parts of the game that isn't just gore and extreme violence, and those subjects are quite touchy and can cause high levels of distress for people who are unaware of these things being present in the game.

Grow a pair, Nancy.
Blud is arguing against a two second screen or some actual info on the steam page to help and make the game more accessible to people with PTSD :er_wave:

trigger warning is a word that some people dislike because of stupid world events, disregarding that "content warnings" is a fine idea
black Harlekin Nov 26, 2024 @ 1:20am
Your content warning is in the description on the shop page. psychological horror games tend to have these topics and should be expected by now. If you need a trigger warning every time a game boots up, this isn´t the kind of genre for you and maybe you should seek help to overcome your ptsd and fears intead of demanding everyone adjusting to you.
Accept not everything is made for everyone and stop limiting artiistic freedom.

And yes it spoils games, if you get a trigger warning for the topic of self-harm you expect it at some point and when it happens it already lost it shock value (wich can be a powerfull message if you not expecting it, making you more aware of signs in a second playthrough and helping you to detect these things in your life).

So no, you know what you are in for already, if you have fears and can´t handle a game with the topic don´t touch it or use it as motivation to face your fears and seek help to overcome them.

Majority, if not all other horror games that have the same themes disclose that they have them, I never saw anyone complaining about the game being spoiled for them, saying that they spoil is a stretch, if you're so afraid of getting it just ignore the big screen that says DISCLAIMER, your point is redundant

If there's one thing I learned about the fandom with this game, Itslike any other new thing, you can't criticize it, and if you do, you're a punk, ♥♥♥♥♥, wanker, whatever they feel like calling you. I feel, and have reported to Steam, that any game that has rape or sexual assault needs to be labeled as such, plainly, not just "and worse". When I hear that, I assume mind destruction, or horrific body horror, not real world atrocities.

Horror is supposed to horrify. If it isn't trying to be traumatic then can it call itself a horror game?

Here's a way to avoid trauma triggers, avoid horror games.

I assure you without getting into personal matters, I know more then most on here.

It's a game, a piece of fiction, it can't hurt you.

so you both want it to attempt to traumatize people but also believe that it is completely incapable of doing so?

It isn't you though, which is sad thing indeed.

Here I do a couple of suggestions that you may approve of. To make it "more accessible" remove the scares and the horror. Great idea right:cupup:

If you get actually traumatise by a piece of fiction, then I'm sorry but you might want to get that checked.

Question marks, very informative thank you. Traumatic as in scares, putting you in situations that will make you uncomfortable, horror.

Traumatic and scary are two different things, what you're saying is actually insane
