The costtt ;w;
I was so excited but it's out of my budget ;; I would've gone for $30 or even $40 reasonably easily but this is way over what I can go for a 20 hour game aaaaa

Will be super awaiting a sale though

Yeah, 40 for this would be somewhat reasonable but 60? I have to wait for a sale even though I want to support it.

My jaw dropped when I saw it. I really really wanted to get it but I'll have to wait for a sale ;_;
literally a 13yo game... should've been 20 euros at most...

I assume it's to keep price parity with the Switch version? It has a physical Switch release as far as I can see and I have seen this before with games that have those. I agree that it was more expensive than I anticipated as well. I would have expected it to be 40 euro maximum.

That's because you are either in the LATAM (Latin America) or MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. While these regions use the US dollar as currency, their regional pricing is like half of it: https://steamdb.info/app/2474700/

I didn't check the pricing on the Switch before my comment, I just assumed it was the reason since I have seen it before with other games. But you are right, it's about 46 euro here (Belgium) on the e-shop and it's 59 euro on Steam (not counting the 10% off). I haven't found a physical copy yet to check the pricing on those.

I also forgot about regional pricing, it can do weird things for some games and some regions, so it might be the culprit. But yes, if the Switch version is cheaper it's certainly too expensive on Steam.
