(Facepalm) All these guys are wrong you CAN pistol whip from close range when aiming at the guy instead of firing 47 will hit them with his gun and eventually if you keep smacking them knock them out for a minuate or two, this was also in silent assasain, they changed it in blood money so you can only do it on a human shield

Your right. I remember now, it was like a whimpy blow. I didnt even bother with it. Its just very rare but it was possible. HM2 I dont remember but I highly doubt it was possible. I have to replay them all again.

You can in HM 2. I did it way too many times and enjoyed guards just falling to the ground and dozing off :)

You can pistol whip. In one mission I was ganged up by a bunch of guys and my guy was pistol whipping instead of shooting because they were very close

If you wack an NPC, everyone nearby will immediatly know what you did and what you look like (even in a different room behind closed doors). Within moments, you would be shot.

Human shield is too op. Mechanics like that made Hitman BM was way easier than contracts
