you need to limit the FPS, check the other threads, normally your video card software has somehting to do that but if not theres other alternatives

Of course there is. fps_max 60 on valve games for example

I can't seem to limit my FPS either through NVCP or Inspector. No matter what I do, even changing the monitor's refresh rate lower doesn't seem to affect it. Wondering what people are doing to get this running...

NVCP won't consistently work for me but Rivatuner works every time I've used it.

I can confirm that Rivatuner also works on all the games that have this problem.

you can use the Nvidia settings to cap but in only works if you use this fix i found in the AS silent assassin discussion.

You will get stutters in the loading screens but the game runs fine.

BUT ... the weapon mods dissapear, they are all black??? Any solution?

Dont really wanna play this game like that :(
was so eager to replay it after having great fun with Blood Money.

So, how to low the FPS, mean, it should to low graphic options to near configurations or it must open a specified game folder to change the numbers in this game program?

Set up the most near graphic sittings, the game is still pretty fast. By the ways, I have just been purchased times everything was perfect.

find a fix yet? do u use g sync free sync or variable refresh rate? vsync force off by any of your software? right click desktop click on your gpu settings. reset them all to default restart computer.

you can also try right click the .exe file. properties. compatibility and run the troubleshooter. when you set your pc up after your last windows install or reset did u choose gaming functionality? is xbox game bar on or off? did u type 3d graphics settings into windows and add the game to that list as high performance? if so try turning these things on and off. my pc runs contracts with no action needed other than switching on quality mode textures and a bit of DSR

you shouldnt have to take action for this title. im running a hp omen laptop gtx1060 i7 and no action was required. i am thinking something in your pc settings is optimised for modern games but killing your compatibility with this one. it actually bothers me that someone out there wanted to play contracts but cant.

right click desktop. click on your gpu control panel or settings. max frame rate 60fps. and look for monitor or screen settings in the left list. set the to 60HZ as well. if your monitor exceeds that then select 120hz 144hz 240hz or whatever ur monitor is

Using these configuration settings in combination with limiting my monitor's refresh rate to 60hz has fixed the issue.

Thank you so much for posting this as I am now able to play Hitman: Contracts a proper first playthrough.

Thank you for posting this. I limited my monitor's refresh rate to 60hz and used the configuration settings Hars1k provided. Thank you both.
