Hitman Contracts won't start up, even though I played it after installing it...

I verified game cache and tried to go put into compatibility mode, but that application file doesn't have a compatability tab in properties (difference might be with windows 10?) but the thing with me is that I purchased, installed, then played the game and now that I turned my computer back on i get a "Hitman Contracts has stopped working... blah blah blah" messege and Im pretty disappointed.

on which windows are you? but anyways the game should have a compatibility tab are you sure youre checking the right executable?

I'm having the same problem. Just purchased the game, played it for a bit. It wouldn't play again after I got off the game the first time. Even uninstalled Steam and started it back up.

Okay, to be fair, I've not had many problems with other games, so, explain that to me. It won't even load up, so, how do I fix that?

just go to the executable of the game right click it and youll see a compatibility tab. an easy way to find the exectuable is to go to properties of the game on steam -> local files tab and youll see a button to take you there

So, I go into local files, and then I can try to run it in test mode, and it will work. But there's got to be a better way to do it, right?

you can set it to always run in compatibility mode so you should only have to do that once
