How can I limit my FPS without 3rd party software?

Could do with a bit of help because my game sometimes randomly goes into REALLY slow motion (like, paused-level) when i die or go into the map

is your FPS going way higher than 60? according to wiki the game has vertical sync enabled by default which would limit the FPS

Nothing wrong with nvidiainspector. Used it to cap frame rate to 81 fps and it solved the issue.
