Hitman Contracts 16:9 Windows 10 fix

For those who have trouble launching/crash on startup, here's a solution that worked for me on my PC and Laptop:

1) Open Hitman Contracts root folder. Steam Library/steamapps/common/HitmanContracts
2) Find HitmanContracts.ini and open it via any editor.
3) Select all text and replace it wth the following and save it.

thanks this worked for me but agent 47 is sliding around slowly and it keeps crashing after like 5 mins of moving but i got the game to launch up so thanks for the help

Run the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP (SP3)

Go to <path-to-game>. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hitman Contracts).
Turn on Windows XP (SP3) compatibility mode in the Hitman.exe properties.

unzip it and copy the contents to <path-to-game>. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hitman Contracts).

Run dgVoodooCpl.exe, go to the DirectX tab, and in the Resolution box select your desired high resolution. Recommended: 1920x1080

In: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hitman Contracts\scripts)
Edit: h3.ini to;
[MAIN]
Width = 1280
Height = 720


Edit: dxwrapper.ini <path-to-game>
find d3d8to9 and change 0 to 1.

D3d8to9 = 1

(Example> D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hitman Contracts) You will have to see a 5 seconds add and accept the terms to download the zip file.

_ Activate the check box for the "Compatibility mode - Run this program in compatibility mode for"
_ On the selection menu choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"
