"Cover Blown" for seemingly no reason.

So, I was playing Beldingford Manor mission, and I was constantly getting "cover blown" message even if there's no guards close to me. There were some outright absurd situations when I was sitting behind a bunch of haystacks waiting for a stableman to come so I can take his clothes. No guards could see me obviously, then all of a sudden I get "cover blown" and a few seconds after that I'm getting shot at. This happened quite a few times, in diferent places and with different disguises, but mostly around the stables. Eventually I was able to replay the mission and get SA, but in the very next mission (Rotterdam) I got the same problem: walked into a room in a biker disguise (there were some bikers in the room already, but none of them close to me), and instantly got my cover blown. Am I missing something, some hidden mechanic or whatever, or the AI is just that inconsistent?

the AI shouldnt be inconsistent (or at least not to that degree). maybe theyre finding the corpse of the guy you took the clothes off or something?

When they find a corpse, there's usually a specific message about that. It also says "guards are now looking for a suspicious <name of the disguise>". But in my case it just outright said "cover blown" with no explanations.

yea thats right but maybe that was it. cant think of much else :/

Yeah, that's very similar to my problem. Basically, I figured out that the only way to get SA in this mission is to save the lord's son's killing for last. Because a couple of minutes after his death my cover gets blown no matter what. A shame really, because the mission itself is one of the best in the series.
