How long will the main story last?

I loved the first game and I platinumed it on PS4, but I always had the impression that it lasted too short, so I would like to know if anyone knows how long it will last (I will buy it anyway because I like rats on my naked body or in my underwear)

Main story is probably around 12-14 hours give or take, with the first game around 8 hours.

I tryed it at 1st,but after the 2nd boss i abandoned it,and i think i will never try it again.

At the second boss I was tempted to restart on the easiest difficulty. I carried on through. I don’t like souls, or the “git good” philosophy. I play games to have fun. A few tries and the right weapon and they are 3-8 tries and done.
