I'm mostly retired due to medical issues but still working on some stuff by myself when I can manage, just to stay sane. Nothing like Volgarr, just experimenting really, and with how little time I can spend at the computer these days I don't expect to have anything to show for it for years, if ever. I actually focus more on giving advice to other local young indie devs these days (they are everywhere here in the Seattle area), though with most of them using Unity there isn't too much an old C/C++ programmer like me has to offer outside of game design feedback.
Not saying it's impossible we'll get the old band back together and make something one day but just not very likely. I still plan to continue to support Volgarr in terms of patches and ports if/when there is demand, but that's about it.
Sorry to disappoint :(.
If medical problems are keeping you from development, configuring a voice-driven IDE might be helpful. I'm a web developer and seriously considering it because the strain it there and may eventually leave me unemployable.
Best of luck to you and Kris.
Let me tell you that I think Volgarr is absolutely awesome. I just came into this forum to ask the exact same question as OP.
Thank you for your work on the game. Volgarr was awesome. I wish it had a sequel.
I hope you will have the opportunity to make another game one day !
