Does anyone use any mods?

Am I the only who doesn't use any mods?
Do you think I'm missing out much?
Are there any mods you would recommend any player to use?

I use better spore without the new parts files due to the new parts not allowing you to share creatures even tho I make a creature only using vanilla parts

i havent used mods on spore because its difficult without account and i dont want it to break my game

I recommend the Pandora's Toolbox mod, it adds shapes that you could probably use on your creatures, and maybe Dark Injection (for some reason when I activate some options it crashes my game)

I personally use Epicplay (allows you to play as an Epic during creature stage) and that's it. Dark Injection doesn't work with Steam Spore, sadly. I might pick up Pandora's toolbox since that might make my creatures better.

Edit: NVM. Can't use that.

how do you get mods for spore anyways? ive been playing it for 3 years its getting boring!

BetterSpore is a broken and outdated mod from before GA even existed, don't use it. (you'll need to reset your save data to remove it though.)

You should try it anyway - the Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit works for some people, just not for most people. No clue why, it's completely inconsistent.

You can get mods from either Davoonline or from the Spore Modding Community Discord server. You install them using the Spore ModAPI Easy Installer.



Personally I use way too many mods to list here, some of which I've made or am making myself.
