Flickering Screen

I bought Spore only 2-3 days ago and played through to space-phase with absolutely no problems with the game. However, I was playing Sore early today and went to go do something irl, when I came back and loaded Spore up again for some reason the bright parts of the game were constantly flickering, and furthermore, seemed to be flickering faster and faster the longer I stayed in the game. This is now the second game to start doing this in the last 2 days ("Among Us" was the first) and I am unsure if this is a Steam issue or somehow an issue with of my PC, although I cannot see how that would be the case given that my PC has not had any new system/ software updates and Spore has been working fine for 2-3 days with Among Us working fine for well over a month.

If anybody has any suggestions on how to fix this issue then it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: This issue is now occurring for all my Steam games. It is definitely an issue within Steam as games launched from the Blizzard Launcher and Epic Games Store are working perfectly fine.

I would just contact steam or steam support.
