Why does my game download random ♥♥♥♥?

Ever since I created an EA account, Spore would download player made content without my permission. When I checked my Sporepedia it was filled with ♥♥♥♥ and stuff that I would never use, I had to delete almost all of them.

Then the next day, its getting filled again and automatically downloading completely random stuff.
I paused the Maxis Adventures crap and IT STILL tries to download nearly every player-made content that exists.

Options mention nothing and I can't find anything on the Internet

I had this too. Go to options and select Online Settings, then click on the box that says Buddy Content Only. Now you shouldn't get any creations from anyone, unless you subscribe to someone.

It's not a bug, but it can be turned off, as jon explained, but doing so also turns off your ability to download anything else, including sunscribing to sporecasts. The opnly thing you'll be able to download then if from buddies as is selfexplanitory.
