Crashing down.

It just crashes in main menu no matter what I do. If I click settings or try to play game it just crashes. This game worked on origin before the update but now it just can't do anything.

You may have corrupted game or configuration data.

Go to %appdata%\SPORE\Games and rename or delete the Game0 folder to force Spore to generate new data and save locations.

If that doesn't fix your issue, try deleting or moving the entire contents of the SPORE folder and trying again.

If that fails, get steam to Verify Game Cache for spore and any expansions you may have.

When I verify game cache it always finds 1 file that is missing. (it doesn't download it altought it says it does)

Might have to go ahead and Delete Local Content, then reinstall, unfortunately.

Maybe I should have said this. But I have tried to reinstall it about 7 times now. And yes I tried to delete local content too.

Might be worth trying to update your graphics drivers as well. Beyond that... Not sure. There should be a crash log generated somewhere... Likely under Steam\steamapps\common\Spore\SporebinEP1

If you can upload that for me to look at, I might be able to puzzle it out.

Ok this is funny thing. Normal spore works. but GA does not.

Curious... It's a DLL it either can't find or isn't able to read. I'd definitely recommend updating for reinstalling your graphics drivers. It doesn't seem clear even on what the dll it's having trouble with is called, funnily enough.

Any other logs in that folder? You can upload the entire text file to Pastebin.com if you want.

That is the only crash file. It makes another one (exactly same than earlier) every time it crashes.

Also I updated my graphics drivers earlier this week.

Hmm. Try running it as administrator? You can set the properties for Sporeapp.exe to always run as admin so you can still run it through Steam.

I got the exact same problem since it keeps canceling and when i deleted one of the Game0 it disabled the planet creation and captain but also the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ planet it deleted and all my savefile for my alien race is lost.

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in?
