Help: How do I get Exoskeleton Parts?

I been trying to upload some creatures to my game, but they won't work.
Turn out they use exoskeleton parts.

Not to sound like a complete noob, but I tried looking on the store for a Exoskeleton DLC or something like it...found nothing. So...uhh...what do I do to get those parts?

Uhh, no, my installation did not come with them. I have Spore Core, GA, C&C, and Dark Injection Mod, but that's all I got.

The exoskeleton parts normally refer to the creepy and cute expansion pack. If you haven't got that, easy solution -- buy it.

There's also robotic parts that came in a Dr Pepper-exclusive patch, there was some weird way to get them, but the only way to get them now is no download a pirated copy.

Finally, there are some parts included in modpacks, most notably Dark Injection, which essentially backports all the parts from DarkSpore back into the original came.

That makes sense...but what doesn't make sense is I have everything but Exoskeleton parts. The only way I got Robotic parts is through my DI Mod. Removing my mods will show I don't have any of the special stuff...so there's something I must've did wrong.

I bought C&C when there was a bundle sale. (It incluses Spore Core, GA and C&C)

The only other thing I have is Dark Injection Mod

Maybe my only options is getting these patches, or using mods.

Ah, well damn. Guess I'm plagued until they fix it...or find a mod to help me with it.
