Sector 48+ progress painfully slow
I'm currently at 53A after about a week of grinding, idling, prestiging and focusing on developing one thing at a time. Blue synth is insanely slow, I've maxed out my reactor upgrades to what's attainable right now, I'm up on all my challenges to this point, and I have no idea how to see some better progress. It's maybe 10 units of distance forward every 6 hours or so, I just offline idle as far ahead as I can so I don't get retreated but I get the salvage/void gain. Warp is maxed out too -- I may get a half sector worth of gain every 2-3 days on the low side. Is there a solid build and layout combo that will get me through 53 and 54?

Weapons layout:
2 Disruption
1 Missile
2 Bomb
1 Kinetic

V Shard: Compute Red, Battle Pink, Warp orange, Base Blue, Flex Green.

Energy and Computer Crews, reprinting once they're 10-20 levels ahead of latest high.

All modules upgraded to blue tier, unable to synth quickly enough to purchase even one damage upgrade.

Reactor running everything but engine, AI managed, using 50% of void gain.

Compute using salvage bonus, AI managed for upgrades and optimization. Yellow 4 Cap Cap.

Research stalled around 39-41x for all unbound choices.

I'm hoping there's a solution I'm missing or a system I'm just not understanding yet. Thanks

it does slow alot once you unlock the crew feature. You should focus on crew for the most part as it's still new enough. you should look at the crew thread that people keep necroing as it has plenty of good info in there on how to jump start your crew. But it comes down to get crew high enough to get mastery 1 on 1 crew member, then prestige and use your starting bio sleeves to do that for the next crew member until all 8 are unlocked. that should give you a significant buff if your not there already but it should take a few days. while doing that you might be able to push higher but after they all have mastery 1 you can use your crew layout to boost your other functions to get higher warps/shards/research/crew xp as the cycle is endless. Low crew is typical cause of stagnation in every area, or bases which usually ties into crew usage. the upgrades alone just from combined rank/stats are significant boosts.

i'm sure there is more stuff you can improve on but it's hard to pinpoint with the information you gave. weapon loadout is really up to you as you will be able to push through those levels with a high enough compute, make sure if your capping your bars you are using the Vshard for compute levels bonus gains and the 3rd tier on your crew member that raises the level cap to 1e4 or something.

as long as your making progress your fine. i think i took 35days to get to sector 69 when it was the cap but i think most usually get there in 2months+?
