Then atleast one smart craft.
Autoresearch is interesting, but only early on when you are researching without specing into research, later its not that great as you research only with specialized setup, so its inactive most of the time. But its still better than most of the rest.
Auto salvage is weird, i still didnt bought it as it seems useless to me cuz i set higher value than 1%.
Auto power is another kinda useless as you buy compute power manualy at beginning of the run and later you are not gaining enought void to need this automated.
Core auto upgrade also doesnt look that great for same reason, i boost salvage at beginning of run, get all cores up manualy and then switch to like research, or synth setup so my salvage gain drop to the point where i can upgrade core by 1 level in like 5+hours, so not worth an automation.
Reactor autobuy - same thing not worth automating, once in the while you just run setup for max power and maxout upgrades manualy in like 20 minutes way above lvls you will be able to use.
Reactor power/vm managers are big mess for me that just change wildly reactors boost output. I just set it manualy to get consistent boost of whatever i need.
Base auto upgrade and autowarp seems like QoL for lazy ppl.
Auto merge
Core auto Upgrade
Reserch auto Select
Compute Optimize Button
Compute Auto Optimize
Base Auto Upgrade
For me, since i dont have time the next weekends:
Increased Offline max
Auto Warp
Currently i think about Reactor Auto Buy... When i start to Upgrade reactor things from time to time, i am to lazy to click.. But i think the
Compute Auto Salavave / Compute Power Auto are better.
I think is mostly personal what you prefer. For myself the Smart craft is total useless... But i could not play without Auto Core Upgrade :D.
I just do an Prestige set auto navigate Sector 32, and minimize it.
Smart craft
Smart craft 2
auto merge
Reactor power Manager
Reactor VM manager
auto-navigate
Smart Craft 3 (whenever you have the slot unlocked, otherwise go to next)
Smart Craft 4 (whenever you have the slot unlocked, otherwise go to next)
Crew stat auto-switcher (whenever you unlock crew, otherwise go to next)
Crew xp/skill auto buy (whenever you unlock crew, otherwise go to next)
computer auto-salvage
compute optimize button
compute auto optimize
computer power auto
Base auto upgrade
Research auto-select
Reactor auto buy
Crew reprint button (when you unlock crew, otherwise go to next)
Core Auto upgrade
Auto warp
and then in no particular order
Custom tab order (Functionally useless)
Loadout slots (I never found these necessary but if you want em sprinkle in as many as you need)
Increased offline max (I never play offline, get it if you plan to not play for long periods at a time)
Module pinning (By the time I got this, I had already completed all Synth content lol)
Shard stat totals display (The math isn't exactly hard to do without this)
Base loadouts (I don't change my base loadout often, so this was fine to get close to the end)
after that, the compute optimise and auto-optimiser were the next i came across as beneficial, so i got them, and core autoupgrade is a game changer because you can select what to allow it to upgrade, thus allowing focus on one or two cores.
bases came next, and autoupgrade has literally saved me years in lost time already if i would play as lazily as i do without having it.
research i could focus pretty eaily for a long while due to the core autoupgrade, but i got the research selector anyway, since it saved time potentially lost from not having the next research selected. note that this is less useful once you have the unlimited researches.
reactor autobuy and auto level i found useful, but the automatic power setting suffers if you have a short term average in your settings. the default of 60 seconds is WAY too short, the power level setting doesn't keep a very level setting due to all the upgrading with void power going on, especially early in a run, so i found this only works well with long averages, upwards of 10 minutes (600 seconds)
the crew auto switcher is double edged if you want to focus, but i got it anyway because most of the time i don't bother focussing so much.
as a qol, the reprint button is nothing short of genius.
autowarp is definitely a must have if you're constantly forgetting to look at the game. you lose so much income without it, but it doesn't upgrade your warps, you still need to actually go in an do them for that. still, it's nice to have asap once you have warps.
module pinning is nice, but it would be better if it had an upgrade button attached to those modules pinned.
loadouts i didn't bother with so much though i could have potentially used 3 for my 3 main weapon loadouts, but i changed utilities a lot at the beginning of the game, so one was useful to reset to my go to loadout, and only one base loadout because i only ever change it around when i'm going for the base carry. those are finished now, so i don't need more loadouts for the moment.
the rest i only got due to being a completionist.
edit: entirely ftp not p2w
