Request: Core equipment preserving perks on prestige

It would be nice if you didn't have to manually set all the different perks for your different core weapons etc every time you prestige or retrofit. Right now, if you have 2 of the same like 2 Burst Cannons or shields, if you want them to have different perk trees then they will both get mixed up on prestige / reset, as in not just do they not get preserved, but the resulting perk trees don't match ANY of the 2 perk trees you had before and it's a mix of the initial perk trees. I don't want the perks to get changed at all, and on top of that why do they end up getting what seems to be randomly shuffled together? I just want the game to preserve the selected perks on prestige / retrofit.

For example where this occurs: I like having one Burst Cannon with raw damage perks, the other one with scaling. 2 shields so one is on capacity and one is on regen. Plasma chainers with one having the phase locking perk and the other not. To name a couple examples. Right now i have to manually set the perks again every time because both equipments end up with the same and jumbled loadout which is pretty frustrating, especially because there's no reason for this to just get jumbled every time.

It would probably work with a loadout slot with your core setup as is and no retrofit enabled, and everything else not saved in the slot. And the other slots would have no core setups saved. So you could get your old setup back with one click.

True, thanks for the tip. At least a decent workaround, although would still expect it to just not change in the first place
