Recommendation on what to unlock next with synth points?

I have 3000 synths points and I am at the 250 tier and have only unlocked the "improved base" upgrade from that tier so far. I was thinking about saving for the 3000 3rd synth sloth at first but now I saw that there's something else called Warp core that I couldn't find what it is on google which seems tempting too. Or maybe get the 250 damage, shield, compute, and the 1250 module slot first?

Can't remember what I was getting in what order, but if you don't have warp unlocked yet, there is no need to get extra cores.

Warp is a mechanic that will unlock later on, until you unlock the mechanic, the upgrade will do absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile, having a third synth slot will let you craft everything faster, meaning you'll get those points back faster as well.

In the end, it does not matter much. The further you go, the larger amounts of points you get. If bought mostly from left to right, with the occasional extra modul slot a bit earlier.
