If you look in stats and info you should see a new upgrade for it
are you aying you do NOT have that new upgrade thats better after prestige?
If I prestige, that entire section is gone with nothing to replace it. I don't know if it ever returns. I don't actually want to prestige right now, so I restored my pre-prestige save.
Imo, having both scrap and void become obsolete so quickly feels odd especially when t13 exists as well as recently acquired fleet bonuses to reduce modules for both while also funneling their applicable use strictly to crew (such as not needing to worry about either one in reactor and compute).
I wouldn't be surprised if this is intentional design with the addition of crew splicing in the future; but without that feature currently, it all feels awkward.
