how to get synth slot 3 and 4

i am kinda stuck on sector 18 now, and i am wondering how to get the slot 3 and 4 of the synth
some people say its unlock by reseach but i didnt know witch one

One of the early research topics unlocks the third synth slot. Not sure how you got to sector 18 without getting that one, since it's the second row of the leftmost research category.

It may be possible you've unlocked that one but not the one you get from the synth tab itself?

i really dont know, i have 2 slot, on synth and i am at sector 18
so kinda need help with getting the 3rd and 4th slot

its not the module btw i got 5 module slot, i am talking about the one that create the material

I know what you're talking about. Here's what you need to know about synth slots:

- One synth slot can be unlocked with Synth points, it's easy to tell since it has a unique (dark grey) icon.
- One is on the second row of the Material Research tree in the Research tab.
- The last one is unlocked from the Warp Drive tab.

Also, while I understand that you're stuck at 18 and that you only have two synth slots, there's no connection between those two facts. Those synth slots aren't what you need to advance. Unfortunately, it's been a long time since I was that early the game, so I can't give you the advice you actually need.

nvm i got it, its the 3k snyth point, it is way out of my leage
