What does it even do for the Reactor? It feels like I still have to manually adjust everything?

At set times your reactor well be adjusted (rasied or lowering their power levels) on any or all of the active reactors.

This can be if you lose a module or you raise your power output, every active well then change their value to make sure your just about net posivtive on power gains. Normal it trys to even it out as best it can.

You still need to select diffent reactors to turn them on or off. But it mainly ensures that they do not turn off when your power level drops to zero.

it will auto adjust the levels of your activated reactor buffs based on your current power generating abilities. you will still need to disable some of the buffs to min max output for what you are currently doing (such as research or synth focused runs)

Ah okay, so given I have not unlocked the levels for the buffs, it basically did nothing?

Yes, it is a waste in this moment but not for long I am sure. It's a really good AI upgrade once you get to that point.

Think of it as being able to split your (ORB) income between calculate levels, and active reactor power.

Make up your mind where about you want it, and leave it until you want to shift it.
