I really don't understand how you took my post as complaining about the wiki.
The issue is you will be several days of playtime behind what you could be at if you wait till you fully unlock every slot of Base 1 before attempting Base Challenge 1 like the in-game tip recommends.
Yeah I don't know. I was semi tired when I glanced at it and sort of just stuck on the "Analyze the wiki" part. Just going to nuke that post since it's not really relevant.

He edited his post, it definitely was talking about the wiki in it originally. Scummy behavior from op
Would be a great thing to have the text adjust to your progress.
Like, I still see the suggestion for first run, when I am 4/5 on Synth. I have no idea what ill need for 5/5, unless looking at the wiki.
I can certainly understand not wanted people to do things too early. But actively recommending them to wait that long is going to have them hit a major wall that is in no way their fault as Base progressions hard walls other progression.
Meeting the recommended requirement to complete the challenge is only reasonably possible with the very challenge itself completed. That's the core problem.
Edit: Base Carry is also the only issue. The recommendations for every other challenge is spot on or at most has a tiny disparity between in-game and wiki info. So it's weird that you give excellent tips for Compute, Synth, and Power, yet a wildly inaccurate recommendation for Base with a strong aversion to changing it to be more accurate.
Nah, it really was a fail on my part. The post I deleted was talking about strange choices in the wiki and how it could probably use another glance over and expanded in some parts. OP's post had already been up for a bit when I commented on it.
A revamp that improves the instructions and also provides the best ship setup is coming but thats a ways down the line.
For now if your really dont like them id say just follow the guides in the wiki[spaceidle.game-vault.net] and get them done, if your flashing green on them you can breeze through them this way.
