manifest shard not dropping?

i'm in the appropriate level range according to the wiki, all shard drop rate boosters are on, and my research for it is 1.43e109. no dice

is it bugged or what?

check the drop rate in sector data

It has a very, very low drop rate at first. The drop chance then gets a little higher with each sector. You'll get it eventually.

Using crew shard, crew 'shard drop booster' skill, and the research the drop rate goes up to about 10% in sector 74 making it much more farmable.

Also you get a void beacon module or something from synth later. This is different from the earlier void lure in that it both works offline and also continuously spam enemies every 4 seconds instead of waiting for the previous wave to die. From experience this generally halves the time needed to max out the shard.
That along with having done all the prep like those mentioned above, e104 and above research for shard drop rate, I can generally max out the manifest shard in 5 minutes in sector 74.
And of course once you get your first copy, the manifest shard can be used to farm for itself because it has a shard drop amount bonus.

so i am going to also assume your using the xeno crew right? with ME, researcher and CE.
resource utily, aswell as shard flex in pink?.
then your chances should be quite good. with module and research at 109, at any area 71-74. aslong your not only spawn farming the minis.
