edit i can also see that they are phasing how's your disturpter setup?
Problem is, if targeting was done correctly it'd be far easier.
Now what can happen is that your disruptor isn't hit em and the missles are chosing targets it then can hit because of phasing.
disruptor : phasing , close, change . allow.
(make sure it's fully upgraded even go down a version you want the upgrades not the dps)
with a laser boost of just 1 tower it works fine but time wise the boost is only there for 2/5 of the time.
but 2 missles 1 cannon 1 laser 1 bomb and 1 disrupter, a smal group of 3-5 just get their shots off. and if i actvate the laser boost they die.
so my conculsion is that run 2 disruptors or and 1 gattling and Laser cannon, for more speed.
The Disruptor accordingly to Phasing and Highest Damage/Closest.
I assume you oneshot each small enemy with one missile/one volley of your weapons, then Switch Target is a good idea, otherwise Keep Target is probably necessary.
I personally never liked the kinetic weapons for exactly such reasons, they always felt clunky and cumbersome. That's why stuck to full laser loadouts (with one disruptor) even against pure Armor Sectors, the fast fire rate and projectile speed consistently produced better results than kinetic setups for me.
Dunno who thought swarmers with big weapons is a good idea, guess they realized it too because up to 74 and I never see them ever again.
That aside, I just followed the wiki setup of beam/disruptor/charge/3x laser and never had any issues when I can more or less 1 shot them. Though I guess not much is an issue when you can one shot it.
