Synth -> modules - there are battle versions to make the shield/ lazer/ kinetic abilities to turn on coldown.
I have been using this configuration up until S96 and it has been going well, it caters to every enemy defense system the game has so far. If you notice you have no phasing enemies you can change disruption to charge, but I like to keep my retrofits to change utilities whenever needed.
TL;DR: BD2C2L with lower tier LCs with support options work well
I use pretty much the same setup, only replacing one charge with one gatling laser, it's a bit lower kill speed, but has more versatility against swarms of barrier enemies. (Have the gatling focus barriers and switch targets, and it removes pretty much all barriers instantly.)
But generally, that late in the game damage and shields progress in orders of magnitude, so it's less about the specific setup, since doing 2x more or less damage isn't all that important anymore.
