Struggling on 106
Not on Capital Ship power, but my regular shields and guns, am I missing something? Is there some way to unlock Tier 6 modules I'm not noticing somehow?

I feel like I'm going through a cycle of OD, then Bases, then Synth, then Compute, then Research, getting crew to Mastery 7, but I've just stalled out hard, what am I missing?

roughly yes. your missing to finsh off or start to finsh off bases. That in of it self well not be the end all, But it is a good start.

base 1 finalize makes s. battle easy

Even with base 1 finalize, the Sector 6 and 7 were rough for me. S. Battle reactor to T8 and also boosting salvage gains to just level up the regular weapons even more, did it for me.

Don't forget that boosting the max difficulty on your warps will give you a little boost to your s.battle stats as well, or that you can adjust your power in the core menu away from capital to give them a little boost if you really need it.

How are folks finalizing bases so apparently easily? I'm essentially capped at e142 out of e161 and even with base shard equipped, crew all focused on engineering, and veil piercer targeting base production I'm facing hours for any incremental increase. There are no more warp benefits to be had for bases 1-4 as far as I can tell. I haven't quite unlocked the Fleet alien synth crafting yet, is that something I should be prioritizing for this, or is there some other scaling factor somewhere I've somehow missed?

well the last ingredient is crew levels and crew skill.

you want about e38 reasearch, 9000 engneering and about 6-7 mastery on IE and LM.

and mabey 1-2 levels in warps skill top one. that should net you about 6.40-6.8 crew skill.

then it's just shift to viel piecer and then do green. and once your about e147-150 mats you can switch to componiats, you ether switch to crew qauters to level the crew or don't. up to you.

and then back to to viel and that should carry you to the end.

and this is OD at about level 7-8

Oh, wow, base finalization is a huge step improvement in S. Battle, that was the missing link.

Is it permanent upgrade or just for speciific reinforcement?

Base finalization is permanent through reinforcement.

I had the same problem for a few days, turns out I had the base setup the wrong way round, so I only had 3 boosts on the central greens rather than the 4 that there can be (top right and bottom left should be the boosters and working in from there) once I changed it around I completed it in after 3 hours of Mats and an hour of components (making sure base module, 4 green crew and the base shard all up and running)

My base 1 setup was also wrong, once I fixed it no problem.
Yep, holy crap completing base 1 is huge
