Sector 45 and Deflector Shields
Just cleared 44 and unlocked Deflectors. I see sector 45 has these Hull Big Weapons which seems to outstrip my defenses. Does that mean it's time to swap to Deflectors? If so how many? The wiki seems to indicate that I do not need to worry about that until sector 48.

Usually when you unlock a new type of weapon or shield, the next few stages will require them.
