Struggling at 52
I'm probably just crap at the game. Can anyone share how they beat 52? Like what you used and such.

if you managed to get to sector 52 you should have already figured out the majority of the game? What are you having an issue with is a better question. crew should be new for you and getting warp essence should be your major hurtle overall. There are a lot of early ins and outs for how to use and level crew but while you leveling them up spend time cycling through stuff like Maxing shards and bases, etc. are you having an issue with weapon choices? there are a lot of things you can do to improve so more info would be nice to give more directed advice.

Fair enough. So atm i'm using missile launchers, beam lasers, and bomb launchers. I'm actively switching the link in v devices with the damage target on blue with the link starting on orange and then to pink when the shield goes down. it's working pretty well in that regard. I'm not so much having an issue with damage as I am surviving long enough do deal damage though. For defensive cores I'm using two deflectors and a bulk gen. The deflectors are built towards extra charge and the bulk gen has bulwark.
Compute boosts are at about 1.5e9x
synth is about the only improvement I still have available, but it's slow progress. Working on building out the imbued stuff.
Research is all at about e42-43
I've bought up just about everything that you can get for less than e11 warp essence.
Reactor is maxed out at about 4e32 atm.
and yeah, crew is new to me but i read the info card so I'm working on repeatedly reprinting every now and then to get my first mastery.
anything else?

I would just focus on doing multiple prestige's and getting your crew levels/ranks up and trying to work in some stuff on the side. you should be able to unlock a few crew member types and slots that will help the Min/Max routine for upgrades. one of the first ones is researcher so you might want to spend one of those prestige's working on research again as the start of your cycle, then base top off, then back to synth (you should have one or 2 crew to help push your synth better) the early mastery points you should put in starting bio sleeves and the extra xp for each type of stat, extra crew member and you can choose from there but those are the ones i think the majority of people start with to speed line the unlocks that help everything. Pay attention to the divisors on the 3rd tier talents the color setups actually mean something. the split in the center means all stats boost it, a solid means only that stat will boost it between all crew with that stat or only on that active member, a split in the middle (color on top and bottom) means the color stat on the bottom will reduce that talent effectiveness.

Have you unlocked better tier weapons yet from bases? those might also give you the damage and shields you need to survive longer (this takes more warp/base shard coordination). with the new crew setups available you can do a salvage/void at the start once you unlock them and reach needed milestones to make them useful (easier after you do that research push with the crew member)

I personally didn't like any of the kinetic weapons, i tried them all and in many different combinations but always went back to a laser setup. Beam laser, 2 charge laser, laser canon fillers (1 or 2 tiers lower then main weapon as you only need their supports) and leave the extra room for something specific like disruption charges (for later) or Gat laser for swarm/fighters instead of the missile launcher if you can't boost your damage high enough to ignore them. running a 100% uptime for laser boost helps significantly (2 laser canon or 1 laser cannon and 2 laser charge/beam combo cooldown reduction), sometimes putting a single kinetic weapon for the kinetic boost is helpful (disruption Charges will have that later for you)

Once you get the crew up there just start a run with salv/comp focuing on level gain bonus stats between crew/v device/synth mods and you should easily blow through your wall.

You got crew. Its a slow start but in a few days you will be 60 and more few days 70.
Right now its : getting one crew, try to stay your highest sector and let him level up. Then retire him and level him up again. You get permanent bonus each time he reaches a new high.

I'm not real good at this game, but all I did was 4x Laser cannon 3.0 at level 110, 2x disruption 3.0 at level 110, and 3 continuous shield 3.0 at level 110. With that I was able to push up to sector 54, and am using the higher research and crew growth to get ready to push further. Just sitting back and letting crew levels increase for a bit first.

same thing to me at 53 ,it took me days in general to pogress and then it went faster and faster once you start getting crew perm lvls it gets bit faster and when you get mastery(which you want spend right)

hmmm, there has always been a bit of a slowdown around 51, 52, 53. Maybe I should make the first crew mastery a tiny bit easier to hit, as it should cascade quickly from there.

That might be it. I managed to beat 52 last night and realistically the only noticeable change was leveling up the crew skill, but that was slow going. I noticed the first lvl of each was a damage and shield increase so I nabbed each of those first and then have mostly engineering after that. I think those are what helped me. I'm not sure what you'd do about that though. As for the mastery. I've just barely got one while i was asleep, but I haven't used it yet... Honestly worried about using it knowing how slow it's going to be to get them.

mastery 1 and 2 are easy to get, just cycle through and get mastery 1 for each. spend those points on more bio sleeves and the higher XP to push through your next mastery crew member faster. the bio regen one won't help much early on until much later when your getting mastery 2's

tbh from going decent fast to just a stop wait for days its bad .
but it kinda feels nice when you pass a wall(new content) or achive something,

i'd do it easier that wall but make it harder early? so it balance and still feels there's wall of some new content but with feeling you can actually do something to climb this wall not wait days without playing

It's not that bad of a slowdown, it's just awkward when you introduce a new mechanic that requires some buildup to see some results. Warp Essence and Bases are the same. if you jump on it early it's not much of an issue, but that requires some familiarity with how to use the new features.

I just figured out that if you retire and reprint your crew it's way easier to hit mastery goal. I thought it needs to be done after first initial print and retiring will reset it completely :l
