Warp Drive changes unbalanced
Since the new update you now only have 4 "stages" to complete a warp sector (the red lines on the right of the viewing screen). But your cool down on your boosts have remained at 40 seconds. If you half the "stages" during warp so should the cool down be halved on your boosts right? You used to be able to apply those twice while you were attempting to defeat a warp sector.

why? your boosts arn't warp based they are weapon and if you want to use em more then lower their cooldown.

cooldown on boosts can be lowered. i have all three boosts now on full auto since the changes. a possibility that never existed before. from that experience (and immediately gaining a full 2.0 warp on all but one warp (which i capped at 70), i would suggest that perhaps it might be situational.

also, bear in mind that this change is actually beneficial against shrapnel in terms of computer performance. where before i literally took 68% of a skirmisher warp with me to the end, which amounted to hundreds of ships, now there are not so many to deal with, making for both quicker and lighter load performance on more moderate hardware. meaning less overheating of the computer running the game, and more people being able to run the game (especially older notebooks with lesser 3d performance). i think this is a good change overall.

for me, its worse performance now than before but im not high stages just 49
S48 and warp gates feel lagy than before update

i am at lvl 45 and now the warps feel way more difficult, before lvl 46 warps were guaranteed completion and lvl 46.5 was forget about it, now lvl 46 is fight for your life and fail at the last bit. before i could use abilities twice in a warp, now i have to spam them first thing in beginning just to survive, and won't make it to the end. plus i see the incoming fire actually jitter forward graphically, and that wasn't happening pre-patch. feels like warp system was better for non-end game players prepatch?

FWIW, I'm on sector 49 and find the new warp layouts easier to complete now than pre-patch. I've been able to progress 1-2 warp levels across the board in the same expected amount of time or, if anything, less time than pre-patch would've allowed. So I gotta say I agree with the first two commenters.

this sounds more like the differences in weapons due to the rebalance in the update than directly a warping issue, though the jittery performance shouldn't be happening as much now due to less ships/particles on the playing field.
