Unnamed Space Idle

stuck at 22/23
any tips?

I have cruiser, laser cannon, gatling, charge, beam and kinetic all t2
bulk and con gen
comp lab and synth lab
4118 boost from first base
T2 modules
T3 shards
working on warp core upgrade but havent done much with that system yet so could be bottle necked there, any preferred routes in the upgrade tree ?

For getting to S23 you usually want to either use 3 kinetics or 1 kinetic and 2 supportive laser cannons. The lasers always V1 and for the kinetics you either also focus your dmg at one kinetic, so the 2 supportive kinetics are V1, or you get all 3 of them to ....well, you go all V1 anyways. V2 weapons should only be used if you can get them to at least lvl 50. Otherwise V1 weapons are better. And since all enemies at S22+ are armored for now all non kinetic dmg is absolutely irrelevant anyways.

You can certainly use the above advice I'm sure, but for reference, I cleared S23 with...
2xKinetic 2.0
1xBeam Laser 2.0
2xBulk Generator
Synth Station.
As far as I can tell, level 30 is good enough for 2.0s as long as the run doesn't go long enough for the improved tracking effect to really kick in.

Think I had about level 5-6 T3 offense/defense modules with offense, defense, salvage, void matter, and computer speed modules on.

V Devices being...
R: Synth
O: Battle
P: Salvage
B: Flex

Reactor had the following on: Compute Speed (9), Salvage (8), Synth (7), Damage (4), Shield (4).

Base 1 around 1000-1100x.

Used the abilities manually after farming for a bit to get compute speed up.

It sounds like you're a bit more farmed up than I was at the time so good luck o/

Sadly beams are utterly useles against the armored enemies on S22+. But I guess they might help a bit if you want to do some warps other than the Alpha warp. But it still slows you down on your way to beat S23.

Oh I'm sure it doesn't help with these specific sectors. Was just a... 'you don't even have to be that optimal to clear this' note is all.

What would you reccomend then as i need a beam to get up to S20 but after that it falls off and is really useless

You simply don't need beam to get up to S20. It might take longer than with a beam to get to S21, but if you rkinetics are strong enough to beat S22 then S20 would be trivial anyways.

just t1 generators? surely theyre not enough?
