honestly i belive if you unlock the Advanced Synth Station you should be able to use it for this Synth Challenge as its in the name of the Challenge.

just my thoughts what do you think "Dev"

Maybe it's called a challenge exactly because you don't get easy synth bonuses from stuff like the synth core?

but the synth from reactor works and Shards and even warp? soo i all them but not core? you have to unlock it first? soo why all the others but not one TOO DEDICATED TOO SYNTH

With the 4th synth slot (and every synth related upgrade before that) it took me less than one hour (exactly 58mn 51s with a final multiplier of 1.54e8) to complete Synth Purity 3.
By the end of the challenge I had 8.69e5 Synth Speed. I upgraded my damage/shield modules to T5 and after that started stockpiling every material until they gave me a multiplier of 1e7.

The challenge was done before I had to stockpile T3 materials.
It should be noted that I hadn't bought any T5 synth upgrades (as I'm saving for another module slot). The challenge would have been way easier had I bought damage/shield upgrades.

Well, you focus on the ones required to build and upgrade your dmg and shield modules, but after you got them at the level you want them it's usually better to build many different lower tier mats for the base stats.

If it's not easy you're probably trying to do it too soon, despite what the challenge notifier tells you. You should be getting multiple completions per second of your highest material, with everything below that producing several orders of magnitude instantly., Should be able to blast through each synth challenge in pretty much one shot, just got to remember that the damage/shield modules from synth still work and focus on tiering those up as much as possible before you start producing other stuff.

OMG. I didn't see any increase in my shields or damage when activating the offence and defense modules at lower levels, so I hadn't been using them....
I'm at 1.9e9 synth power now on challenge three, stuck at sector 17..............
