Thoughts on game controls
I was really enjoying this cute-iful story, but then I wound up tripping over the controls. For story games I prefer to use either mouse-only or keyboard-only.

Playing in mouse mode, I must go to the keyboard for the skip and history functions, despite them being onscreen. Please make these clickable so the game may be played with mouse only.

Playing in keyboard mode the arrow keys don't work menus. Having <W>/<S> is cool, some may expect that, but with none of the other "shooter keys" involved, I expect many will want to use the arrow keys. <Q>/<E> are used as well in the blending dialog, so... yeah, keyboards are truly awkward control devices.

<alt-L> for autoscroll toggle is a curious choice. Why not make it a single key? The behavior is very wonky - it changes the auto setting *and* performs the <L> function of bringing up the dialog. I can't even fully characterize it; currently I can't... I just discovered that the keying isn't <alt-L>, it's <left alt>! So confusing! Please just make it the <K> key or another key near <L>, just tabbing between game and this dialog is causing the game dialog to run away! The same feedback applies to the <left ctrl> key. In normal use the state keys shoulkd not be rebound (pay no attention to the Windows key behind the curtain).

The different functions of <W>/<S> and arrow keys in the menu select dialogue is a nice touch, but the arrow keys won't go all the way up to the first item..?

Tab to close dialog instead of escape is unexpected, but the tooltip pops up promptly, so it's workable.

Thanks for binding <space> to the next function!

In the blending dialog, both "Blend" and "Quick Blend" are currently highlighted at the same time, so I don't know which drink will be offered if I press the <CR> key.

History log is not available during charcoal change. I miskey a lot...

The skip key doesn't stop at scene changes, so I just ran past the place I wanted to skip to. A lot past. I can skip straight through most of the game just by holding down <left ctrl>, with stops only occuring at major points and at curious points in the charcoal change dialog. My expectation would be to stop at the last line of the log session, so I could review the dialog.

I can't save and quit?! I hope this is just a demo thing!

Apologies for long nitpicky feedback, but I hope it can be of use.

I've seen people say that controller controls aren't great either. I wonder which is better :ccskull:
