Can't download Weekly Challenge
Ever since I got the game I've never been able to download the weekly challenge. It always says "Challenge not downloaded" at the top and then "Please check your internet connection". My internet connection is however perfectly fine. I've never been able to download the weekly challenge for months now.

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance

Hmm, you tried reloading the challenge? It could be a firewall issue also; any internet protection/blockers running in the background?

Thanks for your quick reply!
Yes I've tried reloading it several times on numerous occassions. I also just checked my firewall and antivirus settings (I have AVG) and the issue doesn't seem to be on that end.

You'd be surprised actually, the game is usually blocked by firewalls from accessing online content like it does in CSD. Have you tried disabling them and seeing if that helps resolve the issue?

Maybe the same problem here. While it's never downloaded on my desktop, it did load on when I tried it on my laptop. Same network and anitvirus. It worked on the machine with Windows 8, while the other had Windows 7.

That's odd! It's still not working for me either... I'm using Windows 8.

Interesting... It just randomly worked for the first time. Hope that continues!

Unfortunately I don't seem to have same luck, I'm glad it works for you though!

Thanks. I'd tell you what worked, except that I don't think I really did anything. It started working after I'd already given up. This weeks challenge just download too. Hopefully it will work for you in the future.

Did you try "Verify Integrity of Game Cache?" A file reloaded when I tried that. I didn't think it fixed the problem. Nevertheless, it is working now, so it may be worthwhile to try. :ai_repair:

Ah no I've not tried that... I'm not very good with computers at all. Where do I do that?

If you right click on the game from your library screen, the bottom popup option is Properties. The Local Files tab has Verify as its bottom option. Hope that helps!

Just an update in case anyone's interested; it finally started working for me, and accidentally so. I needed access to Internet Explorer and the Windows Store for something else (I run Win 8.1), but it kept telling me that I had no internet connection even though I did/do. I changed some settings in IE and the two started working. That was yesterday and the Weekly Challenge in CSD started working for me today so I'm assuming it was yesterday's changes that did it. Hopefully that helps if someone else has the same issue.

Ok, two questions...first, do you know if your username you use to login to Windows has any special characters? What I mean is anything outside the standard keys/letters.

Secondly I'm not too familiar with Avira, so is there any way to set up websites you can "trust"? If so, set www.vertigogaming.net as a website you can trust, as that's where the downloads are coming from.

First. No, all letters, CAPS, no password.
Second. Avira Premium have a web protection feature, so it kinda block any suspicious thing while we browse web. It also have feature to add url that skipped/excluded when Avira scanning.
But in this case, I'm a Free user.

OOT, when I choose "Result" in Select Mode window, I get the message same like this

When I try to retry download weekly challenge, after event above, the error code pop up again.
So, now I avoid choosing that "Result" option to prevent that error code showing up.

UPDATE. Somehow it now worked. Don't know why.
I hope it keep like this every week.
