Report a translation problem
If it helps anyone else, aborting the program on prompt causes more future errors; but ignoring, then saving and quitting seems to silence them for at least the next run of the game.
Second play through, no pop-up but the Art Gallery (which I just unlocked) just shows a tiny little green block with a line (exclamation mark?) through it on a black background. It looks as if the images won't load. I don't know if this works on the main branch but it's definitely broken here.
I'll report back if the pop-ups arrive again.
