MightyWeasel
Not being a card is what it means multiple spaces where you are killing the whatever and yet any "on kill" abilities will not occur. Examples are of course sentinel and werewolf, but also the drunk farmer and surprisingly the creatures in the cave card. While the cave is a card, the creatures inside are not cards themselves so you don't get a "kill" for them should you encounter them.
The other rule is more reasonable, you never kill the sentinel, only best him and move on.
Creature = Anything you fight except characters (including Enemies)
Based on playing Digital Edition as the Ogre Chieftan last night, and encounters with Craft enemy cards, I think the Creature definition is a little loose. Sometimes I was given the Dominate option on cards I wasn't thinking I would, and on my first enemy of the game where I expected to get the option, I did not.
If I remember correct there are Craft based Monsters and Ogre Chieftan is allowed to dominate killed "Monsters". Dont get "Enemy", "Creature" and "Monster"(wich is an enemy type like i.e. Dragon, Animal or Ghost) confused.
Ogre Chieftan dominates Monsters. There are a lot of non-monster enemies such as animals, dragons, and constructs.
