Choosing a treasure Card

Hello, not sure if this has been reported already or I am misunderstanding something but if you use the following combination of house rules:

TREASURE REWARDS: ON
RANDOM TREASURES: OFF

If you complete a warlock quest and pick the treasure option then you will get a choice between all 10 of the treasures!

The house rule specifies:

"Upon completion of a warlock quest, players may choose a random treasure card or a talisman as their reward"

So it was my understanding that it was ALWAYS random and you could only choose a treasure card if you defeated the LORD OF DARKNESS with the RANDOM TREASURES rule disabled.

Am I correct and this is a slight bug or do quests let you choose the treasure too?

If you have "Treasure Rewards" turned on, the Warlock quest completion gives you an option of a Talisman or a Treasure card (which oddly enough, ALSO has a talisman in it) that you get to choose if random is off.
(Sadly, this is my definitive strategy against the AI's for all my games. Get to the warlock, complete a quest, get the Clockwork Owl, then farm quests for the other nice treasures. =D )

To my understanding it should be as you say. Just played a game under these rules and the warlock let me chose any treasure I want, which was surprising to me.

The way to find out if something has been asked before is to use the Search function.

I did, I was referring to the bug reports and beta testing which I do not have access to.

I also wanted to clarfiy that this is different to the way it worked before, when the treasure cards appeared in a very specific order. (Which was a bug)

I am guessing this is happening as a result of that fix.
