With the Assassins' Guild ending when they're completed they should be kept facedown (not discarded as normal) but if they're facedown they are no longer objects. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=749063483
I know they're not kept facedown in the DE version with certain endings. (They should be, the same with completed Warlock Quest & used Quest Reward cards)
At the moment there's no way to see if they've been completed or not without getting up the 'big card' view (and completed Warlock Quest cards are kept no matter which ending is on)
No its not a bug, the completed poster are affected from several mechanics, fe shatter, wind aso.
And ofc you can turn them into Gold vie the alchemist spell or the alchemist in the town.
Not so this from the FAQ.
Alternative Ending Cards
Warlock Quest
Q: If a character must discard his quests due to the False
Grail or Glory Seeker, does he also discard his completed
quests?
A: No. The facedown quests are only meant as a reminder
of how many quests the character completed, they are not
considered to be in play and ignore any effects regarding
quests.
The Warlocks Quest Ending does the same thing to quests as Assassin Guild does with warrents so the warrents ignore any effects regarding objects. Its a clear ruling. Thus its a bug.
And a player "may" use warrent cards, even ones targeting a alignmented character so they should not be automatic but its understandable if Nomad made them so. I mean why wouldn't you use them but then again the option should be there.
Thanks for posting
This is linked to the quests not to the wanted posters, i dont agree with you the completed posters should be still a activ target.
No? why not? got a reason other than you just disagree?
Quest flipped, Warrents fipped wuite simple really. Mandaar agrees so I suppose this thread has done the job :).
Did he?
He agreed to the bug with the wanted posters!
Then explain me please why dead chars will ditch finished wanted posters when they are killed?
We tested the city along time and nobody was mention that there is a issue with the wanted posters, so i dont think its a bug.
As "Then explain me please why dead chars will ditch finished wanted posters when they are killed"?.... Er Because it say so on the Assassin Guild Ending card?
Assassin Guild Ending:
In order to use this Alternative Ending, you you must be playing with the rest of the City expansion.
Whenever a character starts his turn and does not have any Wanted Posters, he may draw 1 from the top of the deck.
Whenever a character claims the bounty on a Wanted Poster, the Wanted Poster is not discarded. Instead, the card is kept facedown in the character's play area.
If a character is killed he may keep up to 3 of his facedown Wanted Posters.
The first character to reach the Crown of Command with 4 or more facedown Wanted Posters wins the game!
And I think you mean discarded not ditched, they are different effects you know :).
As for "We tested the city along time and nobody was mention that there is a issue with the wanted posters, so i dont think its a bug"
Well I cant answer for the testers maybe it was missed or didn't get around to being done who knows. But in the boardgame rules it's very clear.
If you're killed without Bloodbath on you should get the choice (up to 3) of which completed Wanted Posters you want to keep then your other completed Wanted Posters should be 'uncompleted' then shuffled back in the Wanted Posters deck.
Either way uncompleted Wanted Posters would be ditched on the space.
