Warlock's Quest & False Grail

In the solo game I just finished I saw a major glitch. The game was played using ONLY the Revealed Ending house rule, so all characters were randomly assigned. These were, in order, Dark Cultist (me), Thief, Gambler and Martyr. The ending was Warlock's Quest.

The Thief pulled the False Grail within the first few rounds of the game. This ditched all of his assigned quests dealt at the start of the game until he delivered the False Grail to the Castle. He eventually accomplished this but, even though throughout the rest of the game he landed on the Warlock's Cave and Lake Of Visions repeatedly, he never accepted any more quests for the rest of the game. He wandered around getting super buffed up in Strength, Craft and Lives (thanks to the Runesword), and had a HUGE stockpile of items and followers, but lacking completion of the 4 quests he could never make an attempt at the Inner Region.

This is more of an AI problem than a game bug, but it is significant enough to merit serious consideration to immediate fixing.

Can't quite reproduce - the AI didn't prioritise going to the cave so I've changed that a bit, but when it did get there after ridding itself of the grail everything worked as expected (it drew quests) =/

Hmmm, OK. Perhaps my memory is a bit faulty about him going to the Warlock's Cave and not drawing, but he definitely landed on the Lake Of Visions repeatedly and skipped taking any more quests. At the end of the game he had zero quests in hand. The log might still be here on this computer, if I knew where it was stored I could forward it on. Not sure since I started a new game during the day on another computer but synching saved games across my several computers has not been working for some time.

Where is the game log file stored? I searched and found a couple of discussions that say it should be in ...\SteamApps\common\Talisman\logs, but the newest file saved there is over 2 months ago and I play regularly. That was a file starting with "nmtrace...", which has nothing to do with the turn by turn actions in the game. The files beginning with "coc..." appear to be the logs I'm looking for but the most recent one is dated back at the end of January. That makes me think that the location was changed after a game update was released but I can't find anything else that looks like the game log in the Talisman subdirectories.
