I disagree. Using your process, you are saying that any Spell cast in the first battle cannot be used in the second battle. Then why would the word Spell be used in the special ability description? The Spells are not recast at all, they just remain in effect. Misfortune will still produce a roll of 1, Psionic Blast will still add starting Craft to Strength in the battle. The Lucky Charm's effect would also still be in effect. Could you please refer this matter to Carl. Thanks.
