Challenge points didn't reset again

At the time of posting, the top 18 players (18: 845 - 1: 4925) have more points than are currently possible (755).

...and now there's a player at #1 (mikalp) who has 12620 points. This doesn't seem like it's just a matter of points not resetting - an hour or so ago the #1 point slot was 4925 (highlander4ever).

It's a bug that they hoped they would fix for this reset, guess they either didn't get it done or still don't know how to fix it.

Right, but given that there was a moment today when the top points were 4925 but now are someone else and over 12000, it looks like points not resetting may not be the only problem in play.

Hi. highlander4ever here. Not trying to snake a top spot. No problem if the devs want to bump me down to my legit spot.

BUG REPORT WISE: In case it matters I logged in with my friends to continue a multiplayer game around 7pm EST and the changeover for quests for me is 8pm EST... meaning I was in a "live" game during the changeover. Maybe that's what's carrying me over?

I just loaded up the game and the save I had been playing on was gone we were like 80 turns and we had spent a lot of hours playing it. this is not the first time i have had games disappear is there anyway to get it back?

Did you check that the multiplayer online game didn't switch you zones? I found a game I thought was lost because someone noticed that the default was now "Europe" instead of "USA". Other friends have reported different zone switches. Other than that, I can't help you. Sorry.

Ok. I thought I had it. I was online at 8pm during the changeover at the startover at the start of the month, and my challenge points didn't reset. I was wrongly #1. Then, I started playing today after 8pm, and I was correctly rank #22 with 2k-ish challenge points.

Then, as I'm grinding out the Daily / Weekly challenges... I'm back to 11k challenge points, and again, wrongly, number 1.

I'm only posting it here in case the devs see a pattern. I've already sent the ticket...

There's still someone over the max cap of points for day 1. This time, I got reset to 0, as I should have. Today my friends weren't available, so I purposely didn't play at all with anyone else. In fact I logged in at 9 PM EST when the turnover is 8 PM EST and I'm back to 0. Could be nothing. Could be something. Hope it helps.

I somehow have over 3000 challenge points and am #4 on the table. Working as intended, no need to fix this.

Well, so much for my theory. I played through the 8pm EST turnover, and I was properly reset when I thought the glitch was not being offline at the time. Any chance the problem is similar to those that "instantly" get 1 billion XP overnight in XP ranks?
