Broken quest: Defeat the Sentinel

I got Defeat the Sentinel quest from Lake of Visions. I moved to the Middle Region to trigger the fight with the Sentinel. I defeated it once but didn't get moved to the Lake of Visions as usual when completing quest to receive quest reward. Nothing happened even after ending my turn. Tried again moved back to the Outer Region and later moved back into Middle Region to reinitiate the fight. I defeated it again and didn't get moved to the Lake of Visions, I ended the turn in the space I selected after all the encounters. I reloaded the save game and retried, all with the same result. My character is Tavern Maid. The ending is default, Crown of Command.

Does this mean I won't be able to move past Plain of Peril? So the only way to reach the Crown of Command is by defeating the Lord of Darkness with huge total of Strength or Craft?

The expansions used in the game are Frostmarch, Reaper, Dungeon, Highlands, City, and Deep Realms. Also I enabled the option to select Treasure card as reward for completing Warlock Quests.

Edit: This is a game created before the last update. But it was saved at turn 1 and I've played with other games created before the update, dozens of turns played, and haven't encounter any similar problems so far.

You should get moved to the Warlocks Cave and not the Lake of Visions, also a open quest just means you can`t enter the Portal of Power.

(for clarity cause gilga is right. It's broken with the cataclysm version of the sentinel.)

Also, I'd like to add that the AI players doesn't seem to pick any quest from the Lake of Visions. They just viewed the quests, didn't choose and end their turn. They also teleport to the Lake of Visions when possible. So it looks like they waste of their turns. There are two Lake of Visions appeared in the region. I completed one, picked one I mentioned above. Still 6 options, some are certainly easy quests. They picked and completed the quest from the Warlock's Cave as normal though.
