Baba Yaga's Hut and the Wharf
You don't lose the hut when you use the Wharf. I know the rules are unclear either way, but I think it's pretty obvious that using the Wharf involves crossing the river. (This may also be an issue with the Poltergeist; I haven't checked).

It's a teleport. Strickly speaking you've not really crossed.

Strictly speaking it's not a teleport, it's a move.

"On your next turn, instead of moving normally, move to any space in the Outer or Middle Region."

Compare to the Pathfinder:

"The Pathfinder will remain here for the rest of the game. On your next turn, instead of your normal move, you may teleport to any other space in this Region."

It's true your moving but it's not like your not moving through the board spaces, or following a route. While it doesn't say "teleport" it acts like one. A few things in talisman do. Otherwise shouldn't you be encountering the sentinel?

I disagree, if you look at the game board, the city as depicted without the expansion lies on the river and looking at it, it appears that the rear of the city is adjacent to the river with the gate of the city facing away from the river ie north-west.

This corresponds to the expansion board itself where the entrance is at the begining of the board and the wharf is near the rear or the back of the of the board.

Also the sentinel guards a bridge, the wharf behaves like the raft does in the game.
