Unable to enter the Portal of Power

Playing a nice game, got a talisman and crazy strength, tried to enter the Portal of Power and it wouldn't let me through, no move option for the space after the door.

Tried again a couple of times, other player walks through fine as I dance about the door unable to enter.

Shouldn't be anything blocking me as far as I can see.

The possible reasons why you cannot enter Portal of Power :

1) If you have a Warlock quest not completed, and Warlock Cave is not terraformed, then you cannot enter Portal of Power.
2) (this doesn't seem to be the case in your screenshot) If there is a scale on portal of power, and the dragon king matches the color of the scale, then you cannot enter Portal of Power for as long as he is king (or the scale is removed). Same for Sentinel.

I did have an incomplete Warlock quest, is that a known bug? I cannot see a reason why that should stop me.

Why? Because it's in the rules ;)

Page 17 of the Talisman rules

A character must attempt to complete his quest immediately if
he is able to do so. In addition, the Warlock will prevent any
character who has accepted a quest from opening the Portal
of Power until he has first completed his quest

That's a rule that has been in place since the base game. It is intentional, not a bug.

The Cataclysm expansion's board would allow for accessing the Inner Region with an incomplete Warlock quest with the penalty of +2 to your roll when attempting to cross to the Plain of Peril from the Portal of Power. Said expansion is not yet available for Talisman Digital Edition, though.

Good job for knowing that one guys.

In the Basic Rules, p17, under the heading Warlock's Cave, it says in part: "In addition, the Warlock will prevent any character who has accepted a quest from opening the Portal of Power until he has first completed his quest."

This rule is why I always have Replacing Quests turned ON in all of my games. Otherwise you can end up in an unwinnable situation (for instance you draw the quest "Visit the Alchemist" and someone terraforms City. You are then screwed)

I have this issue. I have 2 Warlock quests and I completed them both but for some reason I still have both quests. The game doesn't recognise them as completed so I can't access the Portal of Power. So the only way I can win is by killing the other players. Luckily I have 14 strength and a flail

Nope it was game breaking, I couldn't get through the portal of power but the other player could. I would have won the game if it wasn't for this bug

If you play on the cataclysm board, you can enter even with a quest
