false prophet and the ai

ai sage has had the false prophet for almost the whole game but has made no effort to get rid of it, but he acts like it is not there-he gained 3 potions and a treasure chest but held onto them cause he had 0 fate-but he went to the soothsayer and purchased fate-and then since he had fate but obviously didn't realize he couldn't use it-then proceeded to open the chest and drink the 3 potions. he did gain 3 gold and gained 1 fate, but lost 2 lives.

Did the Sage, after rolling to move, ever have the option to get rid of the Sage if it wanted to at any time in the game ?

yes-at least twice before the city went down in ruins-went to the alchemist both times instead
