I already requested to be added to the beta testing team with an e-mail some time ago.
Renewing the request here as well.
Keep up the good work!
P.S. I own the gold pack and a MacBook Pro mid2010
Does this only apply to Gold Pack owners or do Season Pass holders get this too? I bought the 4-pack for myself and some friends and then bought myself the season pass right along with it. I've since bought 3 more friends copies of them game including a lot of dlc for all of them. Would be interested to know if us season pass holders could get these copies too.
Hmm isnt the Gold Pack the Seasonpass?
Now, the Ninja and Pirate. I'm curious how these will be modified to fit into modern Talisman.
The Ninja I'd imagine will still have his no Follower restriction, be able to Evade all Faceup Enemies, and still deduct his Craft from opponents Attack Scores in Battle when initiating the Battle. The ability to not Encounter a space but still draw a card is weird, probably easier to just allow him to choose not to Encounter any space only, and ignore the bit about still drawing cards since that violates how Encounter sequences in 4th Ed. work in a rather fundamental way. Probably reasonable to give him lowish Fate, like 2 or so.
The Pirate is pretty terrible in 2nd Ed. +1 when rolling in the Tavern is ok, and making a Raft without an Axe is ok, but neither is great. Pillaging Gold spent at Healers and Doctors is ok, but very unreliable if no one spends Gold on those spaces. Capturing Strangers is where the character has some potential, but in its original form, is nearly pointless. Just grabbing a Stranger, packing them around for no benefit for awhile, then dropping them on a space just isn't very useful. The best idea I have for this ability would be to be able to choose a result or wish that is on the Stranger card when freeing them, ignoring alignment restrictions. This would be interesting, especially if you got rid of the 2nd Ed. restriction of it not working on certain Strangers (ie Witch). Probably a nice Fate value, around 4 or 5 would be appropriate.
Just my 2 cents, looking forward to seeing how they have been retooled for the updated game environment!
No it's different. The Gold Pack includes Talisman Prologue, Talisman Digital Edition and the Season pass.
Since I and many others bought the 4-pack we were unable to buy the Gold Pack (as we already owned the game), so I and probably many others picked up the season pass.
Having bought the 4-pack, 3 individual copies of the game, the season pass for myself and buying almost all of the dlc for all 6 of my friends that I bought the game for, it'd be a real shame to miss out on getting those 3 free copies of the game just because I didn't make the specific purchase of the Gold Pack when I've bought all the content within that pack several times over.
