That said, if any long time talisman player can answer a question i have: What is the purpose of the dungeon, i mean the fights are pretty hard, the boss is as tough as the ice queen which means you can't really go there early in the game, in terms of winning the game it doesn't seem to be worth it to go through the dungeon instead of just going for the crown. Am i missing something?
The only thing I would have removed the "edging" around the playing field. Because it is in the main field and its field in "Dungeons" joint between them It looks ugly and somewhat ruin the atmosphere of adventure, at least for me. And even such a small question: In the new version, I found the card (eg mobs opponents), which had not been 100% in the game, but they are not marked with a particular extension. So it should be? if so, where do these cards in the game?
And as always, I apologize for how Google translator :) English is not my native language.
That said, in "my collection," it would be nice to see how many copies of each card there is per set. :)
In some games, you need to become very powerful. For example, if there is any possibility of fighting a boss ending such as Ice Queen, the optional Lord of Darkness is a good gauge of your readiness to take on the final boss.
A high Craft character (e.g. 10+) can beat the Lord of Darkness, choose the Wand of Dragonfire, and instantly kill any final boss and most characters in battle. Also, if you are leveling up in the Dungeon anyway, and you are ready to go to the Crown, beating the Lord of Darkness will let you move to the Middle or even Inner Region without having to move all the way back. You can in that case choose the Cloak of Feathers to cross the Inner Region in a single turn without the need for a Talisman.
But truthfully I find that some of the treasures (like the above) are much more useful than others. Although I haven't used it yet, I think Nomad was quite smart for including the Treasure Reward house rule so more Treasures are seen in action. :)
Yes, as far as I remember, "Bag of Gold" were in the original game without any Expansions. Of course they do not have a particular icon expansion. We are talking about the all-new cards, which I got after installing "Dungeon"! And before that (I repeat) I have them in the game, in principle, have never met.
Try that with real cards. Put a card at the top of the deck. Then put another card. And another. The first card you put back will not be the first card you draw. The game logic is intuitive.
Well, perhaps only to some versions of intuition. Obviously I didn't find it so. In the physical game I get to hold the cards in hand and arrange them to my liking, choosing the one I want to encounter first, then placing the next one behind it, and the next one behind that, etc until finally placing my stack back on top of the deck. This was how I expected this card to work, but I apparently missed some of the extra text Nomad added that's not on the original cards, which threw me.
