I guess my point is the whole game is a bunch of RNG (albeit fun RNG) She does seem overpowered but there is just as much a chance that she will fail at those rolls. Or not even win any battles, or even fight any enemies at all!
I've seen many Dark Cultist games and very few of them have won.
And therein lies the problem; people new to the game are not in a position to make an informed statement as to whether something is overpowered or not.
doesnt that go both ways. veterans have dulled senses to what is op and thinks everything is fair.
one game isn't a good sample though. or maybe your gf isn't a good player. in most game i've played the dark cultist can snowball a game.
That being said , if I was choosing a character to try and win with , the Dark Cultist would probably be on my short list. Not at the top , but near it.
This isn't fair.
