You Shall Not Caast!
Exactly how do you get this achievement? The only people I've seen say they have it got it when it was bugged. The wording is "prevent the same person from casting spells 3 times in one game." The language is remarkably unclear; "prevent?" Off the top of my head, it could mean:

1) Use Counterspell to stop any three spells from one player.
2) Use Counterspell to stop any three spells that target you from one player.
3) Use Destroy Magic three times when the player after you has spells, thus preventing them from casting them.
4) Turn someone into a Toad three times, thus preventing them from casting.
5) As per 1 or 2, but in a game with more than two players.
6) Use Time Steal or Immobility to stop the same person from taking turns - they can't cast spells on turns they don't have.
7) It actually means the Command Spell, meaning you need some combination of Destroy Magic, Magic Shell, Counterspell, Immobility, or so forth to prevent someone from casting THAT three times in one game.

I've tried all of these except #7 and still don't have this achievement. I'd really like some clarification (or fixing/removing the achievement if it's bugged to be unfinishable.)

Use the spell Counterspell successfully against a single player three times in one game. There might be some rules about in a single sitting. I don't know, I already have that one.

Then it's not working because I've set up multiple 2 player games and countered 5+ spells from the opponent (using Prophetess so I'd know what to counter) and not gotten it, both before and after Highlands. :/
Yeah, this update is significantly more bugged than other updates.

I have tried it against the AI and didn't get it, so i've decided that "person" in this situaion means another human player in a multiplayer match. Still don't have this one as i haven't tried to play it online yet. So, not sure if i'm right.

I mean i 3 times counterspelled single AI enemy in a single game.

Unlocked it in Local Play using Warlock and Gipsy.

Local Play means single player with AI or MP? How exactly did you unlock it? Though, maybe it was fixed in a recent patch and i may try it again. What i did (and it didn't unlock it for me) is i casted Counterspell when an AI opponent tried to cast a spell and effectively cancelled it 3 times during a game (not during a single turn). I think i have also completed that game, though not sure and this achievement seems to not be tied to any end game goals.

Local play, two players both played by me, characters mentioned above. I (Warlock) had to use like 5+ counterspells on the gipsy to unlock it (I reused my first Counterspell with "Spell Call" and "Mind Steal" twice and I think those did not count. I drew another Counterspell, and the 3rd Counterspell I got with the "Guru" from the discard pile).
The gipsy even died once and I had to resume a few times because I clicked the wrong hidden spell.
No need to finish the game to unlock it.

edit: I guess you have to "draw" the counterspell not "claim/steal" it.

Ah, so it is like a "hot seat" with two human players, but you can control both. So it then treats second player as a person. Thanks. Will try it later with a druid vs wizard.

The "win in 2 rounds/without losing life/without fate" achievments are a pice of cake in local play ^.~
But the counterspell one is odd. As i mentioned before I think the counterspell has to be "drawn" to count for this achievment. Reclaim/steal or whatever wont work (base game mechanics only).

Win in 10 rounds. Got it recently, though by playing against 1 AI and killing him (with a house rule with no resurrection). And got another two just by playing and not trying to get them even :) I only have a base game, so for me drawing is the only option.

So, i got that achievement by playing in the hot-seat (local play) mode with two characters. But casting counterspell in real time is tricky (i wasn't able to do that), so it is better to queue counterspell on your turn and then cast a spell on another characters turn.

I think this way it should also be easier to get an achievement for a win as a toad. Just select a char with a weakest strength as an local play opponent and then manage to turn itself into a toad and make a fight with that opponent (and hope to roll high).
