The Highland Expansion Out Now!

The Highland is here! Brave the cold, steep slopes of The Highland region and confront the Eagle King! This new expansion adds a new board extension, six new characters and over 100 new cards.

New achievements! The Highland comes with 11 new achievements for your achievement hunting pleasure.

Cross-platform multiplayer - online games can now be played across PC, MacOSX, iOS, Android and Kindle.

Shape Shifter - this new character is available to purchase. The Shape Shifter can change into other characters and use their special abilities!

Special thanks to everyone who has helped with the testing and localisation of this update.


The issue with the AI not knowing how to cast Weakness is fixed, as well as a general improvement in how the AI uses objects and spells. Many other tweaks, fixes and improvements are included too.

Hello Jaxon. In addition to the question above, i also wanted to let you know that my Talisman Level got reseted back to 1 from 9 or 10 after installing the latest IOS patch to my Ipad Air.

Is there a way to get my old level back?

Also, quick question - had you previously un-installed the game and recently re-installed it to get the Highland update?

I never uninstalled the game by the way. Installed the latest patch 2 days ago via App Store and used the "restore purchased content" button to make sure that i can use all the content that i bought. I am pretty sure that all of the DLC's were already active after the update without me using the restore content option but i did it just in case. Losing my level was the only problem but with your tip, it will take no time to reach my old level.

Just a head's up in case anyone comes across it and I believe it is not a bug, as the Valkerie you can only resurrect each follower once, had the warhorse, lost a battle and was able to get horsy back, happened again and did not get the resurrect option and lost him, later in game I resurrected another character's follower (this is handy and can get you the warhorse fyi) and later when I lost that follower I could not resurrect him, just so people know, it's not a Bug (As far as I know) only can be used once per follower so use it well!! Otherwise no issues at all with the new update, just loving it as always! Well done Nomad

Ofcourse it isn't bug but they should change her ability on card. Example : You may not ressurect follower twice.
I mean Dreadwing (follower and relict) has many bugs indeed.

I also have had 2 games crash on my Ipad Air since the Highland Expansion came out. The first time it was with an AI character on the shrine with 2 Lucky Charms. He used the first one, picked a number and then used he second one picked a number and CRASH. The second time I was in the Dungeon, 5 spaces out from the end, using the Sage for a character and rolled a 5 for movement. CRASH. Neither time did reloading the game or rebooting the Ipad fix the issue, it would always crash and I would have to start a new game. VERY irritating!

Does anyone know if there is a fix to not being able to see games and nobody being able to connect to your games?

I had a game on an iPad Air crash last night. Resuming the game didn't help. Totally powering off the iPad didn't help either. (By crash, I mean getting kicked out of the game to the iPad springboard).

I was on the Canyon space and draw the Blizzard card. The next turn, I moved one space to the Mountain Pass. On my next turn, with Blizzard still in effect, the game crashed before allowing me to do anything.

I'm fairly convinced it was a combination of the "roll to get out" properties of the Mountain Pass space combined with the Blizzard effect. Perhaps it's similar to the Misdirection spell bug.

I wonder if the same thing would happen if you're stuck at the Temple and need to roll to get out.
